How your data will be used Personal data provided in this form will be used by Maldon Carnival Ltd, Maldon District Council, and Essex Police for administrative and safety purposes relating to the organisation of the Carnival procession. Your information will not be shared with any third party without your consent, unless required by law enforcement or for other legal obligations. Lawful basis for processing We rely on your consent to process your data for participation in the procession. You may withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us. However, please note that withdrawal of consent will also mean withdrawal from the procession. Photography & Filming Photographs and video recordings will be taken during the lineup and procession by Maldon Carnival Ltd, members of the press, and members of the public. By ticking the consent box, you confirm that: You consent to yourself and your group being filmed or photographed. You have obtained consent from parents/guardians for any children in your party to be filmed or photographed. Data retention Your personal data will be retained securely for no longer than 12 months after the event for administrative and audit purposes, after which it will be deleted. Your rights Under data protection law, you have the right to: Request access to the personal data we hold about you. Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data.
